At Bengal Shoe Machinery Pvt. Ltd., we are committed to ensuring safe, timely, and reliable delivery of our shoe making machines and related equipment across India and select international locations.
1. Working Days
Our manufacturing, packing, and dispatch operations are conducted on:
Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)
Orders confirmed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
2. Handling Time (Processing Time)
Once your order is confirmed and approved:
Handling Time: 5–10 working days (depending on machine type and customization)
This includes order confirmation, machine preparation, quality inspection, packing, and dispatch coordination.
Custom-built or large-capacity machines may require additional processing time, which will be communicated in advance.
3. Transit Time
Estimated Transit Time (Domestic – India): 7–15 working days
International Orders: Transit time varies based on destination country, customs clearance, and logistics partner.
Delivery timelines may depend on:
Delivery location
Mode of transport (road / sea / air)
Machine size and weight
Site accessibility
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on machine dimensions, weight, destination, and mode of transport.
All applicable charges will be clearly mentioned in the quotation or invoice prior to order confirmation.
5. Packaging
All machines are securely packed using industrial-grade wooden crates or protective packaging to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
6. Delivery & Unloading
Delivery is typically made at ground level unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unloading arrangements (crane, forklift, labour, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer unless specified in the order terms.
7. Delays
While we strive to meet committed timelines, delays may occur due to:
Transportation or logistics issues
Weather conditions
Regulatory restrictions or strikes
Customs clearance (for international shipments)
Customers will be informed promptly in case of any unforeseen delays.
8. Damaged or Missing Items
Customers are advised to:
Inspect the shipment at the time of delivery
Report any visible damage or missing items within 24 hours of receipt
Share photographs and delivery details to enable quick resolution
9. Installation & Commissioning
Shipping does not automatically include installation. Installation, commissioning, and operator training services are provided as per mutually agreed terms.
